Annie Aven

M.S CCC-SLP, Speech Language Pathologist

Annelise "Annie" Aven, M.S. CCC-SLP started her journey in speech-language pathology by getting her Bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Abilene Christian University. Annie then graduated from the University of Texas Health in San Antonio with a Master's of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2023. Annie was a speech-language pathologist assistant for a year before starting grad school, serving adults with higher needs via telehealth. Since then, Annie has worked with ages as young as 4 in the schools, and as old as 96 in home health. In her experience thus far, she has seen that communication and feeding are basic needs. Annie feels blessed to get to help others meet these needs that also serve a comforting and connecting purpose.

When Annie is not at work, she, her caring husband, and their two awesome kids love sharing meals, going to church and school events, and being active. Personally, Annie loves to sing, read, journal and go to coffee shops.
