Caitlyn Cass

Apprentice

My name is Caitlyn Cass and I have been an RBT for a year and a half and have been in the apprentice program for a year. During that time, I’ve worked with some of our early elementary age learners and am currently in school with my client. While SBBC has been my first job in the field of ABA, I am incredibly thankful to have started at such a supportive company and to have been guided by exceptional leadership and supervisors.

I double majored in Psychological Sciences and Law and Society at Purdue University and graduated in Spring 2023. I went through many plans for after graduation before eventually landing on ABA after looking back at courses I enjoyed in undergrad, most of which were behavioral and developmental psychology and sociology courses. Growing up neurodivergent, I often think about how many peers I knew growing up as well as myself that would have benefited from the principles of ABA. Upon learning that ABA therapy could be implemented with students in schools and in early intervention, I felt compelled to dive into the field headfirst and look into Master’s programs in ABA. Despite going into the field with little background knowledge, I am forever grateful I did so and am incredibly thankful to have started my journey with SBBC.

Outside of work, I enjoy visiting my family and my horse in Elkhart, Indiana. I have been involved in music most of my life no was a member of the Purduettes (women’s choir) for all 4 years of undergrad. I am also an avid “cozy” gamer and find a lot of joy in painting ACEOs in my spare time!
