Dr. Camille Tolliver

Therapeutic Day School Director, RBT

Dr. Camille Scott Tolliver is a Registered Behavior Technician and the Director of Academics for the Therapeutic Day School. Dr. Tolliver specializes in providing evidence-based, academic support for students with challenging behaviors in the classroom and home setting. She has been employed as an instructional coach, math and English remediation teacher, dean, principal, district superintendent of instruction and an adjunct professor for Indiana Wesleyan University. She has math and English licenses in grades 5-9, a business education license for grades 5-12, and school administrator and superintendent licenses for grades P-12. She also has an advanced certification in alternative education. 

While working as a principal and instructional leader for an alternative school in Carmel, Indiana, Dr. Tolliver and her instructional team raised the graduation rate from 33% in 2016 to 99% in 2019. She credits her success to implementing applied behavior analysis coupled with evidence-based academic interventions. Dr. Tolliver whole-heartedly believes that students can learn how to manage their emotions, use self-regulation, and learn executive functioning skills while simultaneously acquiring academic skills that will lead to high school graduation or post-secondary success. As a result, Dr. Tolliver was very eager to work with School Based Behavior Consultation where she provides evidence-based academic support to students with autism and intellectual disabilities and behavior challenges in the clinical, classroom and home settings.She has earned the following degrees and certifications:

Dr. Tolliver is currently enrolled at Ball State University in the special education program with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is expected to earn her Master’s Degree in Summer of 2024 and plans to sit for her BCBA in October 2024.

In her spare time, Dr. Tolliver loves spending time with her husband, Greg and her children, Amari and Josiah. Dr. Tolliver also enjoys going to the movies almost every weekend, serving in her local church and reading and researching about how to effectively implement ABA in the classroom.
