Jacki Barnhouse

Registered Behavior Technician

Jacklin Barnhouse is a Registered Behavior Technician at School Based Behavior Consultation. She began her journey in ABA in the early months of 2021. Jacklin grew up surrounded by a large family full of little cousins that she adores. Her entire life she dreamed of working with kiddos. She started by participating in the organizing of VBS at her church, taking early learners classes in school, and she worked at a daycare for two years. One day while searching for a job she came across an ABA clinic, she had never heard of ABA, but little did she know it was were she belonged. Jacklin took a leap of faith and applied. She quickly grew to love the field and felt like it was exactly where she was supposed to be. Jacklin loves pairing with her clients through music and implementing naturalistic teaching in all settings. She also has a fondness with helping her clients with their speech aswell. But her favorite thing above all is watching her clients grow overtime. The little things are the most rewarding to her, like helping her client use the potty for the first time, or hearing her client's first full word, or even watching her client finally be able to hold a pencil! These are the things that fill her with joy and keep her pushing to learn more about ABA. She plans to continue in the field of ABA for a long time, and she may even go back to school. In Jacklin's free time she enjoys playing music, singing, and doing anything crafty, whether it be painting or building something, you name it.
