Liline Nelson

BCaBA

My name is Liline Nelson, and I began working in the field of behavior analysis in 2016 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, providing direct support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other behavioral needs in residential group home settings. I later stepped away from the field after my daughter received an autism diagnosis; a pivotal moment that deepened my commitment to understanding and supporting individuals with developmental differences and inspired me to return to school to earn my Associate degree in Special Education.

In 2019, I relocated to Muncie, Indiana, and in 2022, I re-entered the field as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), earning my RBT certification that same year. I went on to pursue my Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at Ball State University, gaining hands-on clinical experience in a center-based setting before advancing to a Program Coordinator role in 2023.

In January 2024, I transitioned into school and home-based services, which allowed me to support clients and families across the naturalistic environments where meaningful behavior change happens. I have since completed my Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Purdue Global University and earned my Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification. I am currently accumulating supervised fieldwork hours toward my BCBA certification.

In my current role as a Clinical Supervisor at School-Based Behavior Consultation (SBBC), I have the opportunity to blend my clinical training, lived experience, and passion for advocacy into the work I do every day. I am excited to be part of this team and look forward to building meaningful connections with my colleagues, as well as the clients and families we are privileged to serve.
